Privacy Policy

We don't sell anything directly

BookNookKit.diy is an independent guide. We don't take orders or payments and you never need an account to read the site. Purchases happen on Amazon under Amazon's own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider logs standard technical data for each request: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use it to keep the site secure and running. It is not used to identify you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which guides and kits are useful, for example which pages are read and which "Check Price" links are clicked. Analytics data is aggregated. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google Ad Settings and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any advertising cookie is set.

Amazon affiliate links

When you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon may set cookies to attribute a purchase to our Associates account. Those cookies are controlled by Amazon and covered by Amazon's privacy notice. See our about page for how we choose the kits we recommend.

Cookies

Cookies on this site come from the services above: Google Analytics, Google AdSense and Amazon. The site itself sets no login or tracking cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them.

Children

The site is written for adults buying kits. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
